What is the IELTS Speaking section/test?

The IELTS Speaking test is conducted in the form of an 11 to 14 minutes interview. There are a total of three parts to the test. In Part 1 and 3, the interviewer asks you a number of questions, and you answer them spontaneously. On the other hand, in Part 2 you get a cue card on which you must take notes in 1 minute and speak using those notes for about 1 to 2 minutes.
