The given diagrams depict various changes at Queen Mary Hospital in 1980 and 2000 since it was built in 1960.
Overall, by observing all the three diagrams we can note that except for the main building of the hospital other buildings were demolished, some features in the map were modified and a few new buildings were constructed.
In the year 1980, the shopping centre, which stood in 1960, was replaced by two new buildings namely the Cancer centre and the Pharmacy adjacent to the hospital. Also, nursing school was constructed on the farmland whereas hospital and car park were left unchanged.
By the year 2000, the cancer centre, nursing school and car park witnessed several changes. The cancer centre was expanded to add the area where the nursing school stood in 1980. At the same time, the car park in 1980 was divided into two buildings to accommodate the nursing school and car park both. Lastly, the pharmacy and the main hospital buildings were unchanged in 2000.
